Choose Hybrid when a lighter frame and a longer listed carrier are priorities. Consider Nero Plus when a shorter open footprint suits your everyday route. Look at Flander when you need a detachable carrier and your pet fits its smaller listed cabin.
That is the quick distinction, but the best match depends on your pet’s space and your daily routine. This is a specification-based comparison of three Uppapets models, not an independent road test. Figures were checked against our comparison page in September 2026.

Maximum pet weight means the combined weight of pets riding together. Check cabin fit separately, including usable headroom with the canopy closed. A listed carrier-wall height should not be treated as a complete description of enclosed space.
Hybrid: start here when the empty lift matters
At 8.4 kg, Hybrid is 1.1 kg lighter than Nero Plus and 1.2 kg lighter than Flander. That difference may matter if you regularly lift the empty stroller into a boot. Check the lift height and grip as well as the weight itself.
Hybrid also has the longest listed carrier of these three at 61 cm and the highest pet-weight limit at 22 kg. Those figures make it a useful starting point for comparing space, but they do not guarantee a fit for every pet below the limit. Its carrier stays on the frame.
Nero Plus: compare length and width separately
Nero Plus is 62 cm long when open, compared with Hybrid’s 74 cm. However, Nero Plus is 51 cm wide and Hybrid is 49 cm wide. “More compact” depends on which part of your home or route is tight.
A shorter frame may be useful where parking length is limited, while a narrow doorway makes width more relevant. Measure turns and allow room for your hands. Folded, Nero Plus is 70 cm high versus Hybrid’s 74 cm, but is wider and deeper in the listed folding orientation.

Flander: choose it for the separate carrier
Flander adds a detachable carrier, making it the distinct option when your routine includes leaving the wheels behind. Its 15 kg maximum pet weight and 52 cm listed carrier length are smaller than the other two, so check fit before deciding on the extra function.
The 9.6 kg figure is the complete stroller weight, not the detached carrier weight. If carrying is the main reason you are considering Flander, confirm the carrier’s occupied lifting instructions and the weight you will actually handle. Our detachable-carrier guide helps you work through that decision.
Which features do all three share?
The current comparison lists a one-click auto fold with a one-piece, self-standing fold for all three. It also lists PU wheels with suspension, 360-degree swivel front wheels and a one-link brake across these models.
Each includes a cup holder, pram caddy and cushioned base. Nero Plus additionally lists a rain cover in its standard inclusions. Check current product-page details when ordering, including availability and any changes to the package.
Three ways to narrow the decision
- You drive to most walks: compare the empty lift, boot opening and folded dimensions first. Hybrid’s lower weight may be useful if cabin fit is suitable.
- You store the pram open: mark each model’s footprint on the floor. Nero Plus is shorter, but you still need its full width and space to turn.
- You regularly leave the wheels at a doorway: consider Flander’s detachable carrier, after checking pet fit and whether the occupied carry is manageable.
Common comparison questions
Which has the most room for my pet?
Hybrid has the longest listed carrier, followed closely by Nero Plus. All three list the same carrier width. Usable enclosed space and your pet’s shape still need checking; the weight limit alone does not settle it.
Which is best for a cat?
Each requires a cat-specific containment and fit check. Flander’s separate carrier can be useful, while another model may better suit the space or route. Start with our cat-stroller buying guide rather than choosing solely by species label.
If none gives your pet enough room, widen the comparison to Camper Max. The right answer can be a different size of stroller, not a compromise inside a cabin that is too small.
