In a smaller home, the everyday objects earn their place by being easy to live with. A pet pram needs somewhere to wait between outings, as well as a clear route from that spot to the street.
Walk through the journey before you buy. The narrow turn beside the front door can matter more than the size of the room, and the lift needs to fit you and your pet too.
Measure the route out
Measure the clear doorway opening with the door in its usual position, then check corners, gates and lift access. Allow room for your hands and for turning. A frame that technically passes through a gap may still be awkward to manoeuvre there every morning.
Check open dimensions as well as folded ones. Nero Plus is listed at 62 × 51 × 108 cm open, while Hybrid is 74 × 49 × 103 cm. These are length × width × height: Nero Plus is shorter, but Hybrid is narrower. Choose around the particular space you need to navigate.
Choose a proper parking spot
Find a dry place inside your own home where the folded pram can stand or rest as the manufacturer instructs. Keep doors, walkways and access to essential equipment clear. Confirm building rules before using any shared storage area.
Look at the spot as part of daily life. Can you reach the pram without moving several bags? Can you open the cupboard beside it? Marking its folded footprint on the floor can be more useful than trying to picture it from a product photograph.

Practise the departure routine
Hybrid, Nero Plus and Flander are listed with one-piece, self-standing folds on the comparison page. Check each model’s instructions and folded dimensions, then practise opening and closing the empty pram before the first outing.
Plan a secure place for your pet while you unfold it. Keep them clear of moving joints and confirm that the frame is locked open before loading. If stairs are part of your route, arrange a safe way to move the empty pram separately; do not carry an occupied stroller up or down steps.
Make the return easy too
Keep a cloth near your storage spot for everyday marks, and follow the care instructions for cleaning the fabric, frame and wheels. After a wet outing, allow the pram to dry before storing it away. Avoid trapping damp fabric inside a tightly packed cupboard.
The useful setup is the one you can repeat without rearranging the room. A clear doorway, a ready-to-go day bag and a predictable place for the pram can turn a small home into an easy starting point for the next little detour.
